English: Edwin Rushton, my great-great grandfather. He was an early member of the
Latter Day Saint Movement, and a close friend and associate of its founder
Joseph Smith. He is probably best known as the source of the alleged
White Horse Prophecy, which he claimed to have come from Joseph Smith. He died in 1904, at the age of eighty years, and was survived by three wives, and thirteen children.
