Summary

Description External tank 119 rolls out of the final assembly building at NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans on its way to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to be mated with the solid rocket boosters and Space Shuttle Discovery for the STS-121 mission. The space shuttle's external tank was returned to the Michoud facility for safety modifications including removal of the Protuberance Air Load, or PAL, Ramps.
