This is a blues song originally recorded as "I Believe I'll Dust My Broom" by American blues artist Robert Johnson in 1936. The song was re-recorded in 1951 titled "Dust My Broom" by Elmore James who sang and played slide guitar on it. James' version, sampled here, has become a blues standard, and was selected by the Library of Congress National Recording Registry. The sample is used to illustrate the style of playing slide guitar in the article Slide guitar.
