Summary

Description
English: From approximately 2001 until 2022, the United States Census Bureau maintained the "Data Federated Electronic Research Review Extraction and Tabulation Tool" or "Data FERRETT" as a tool for researchers outside the government to extract unique, anonymized data from respondents to Census surveys, including the Current Population Survey. The tool featured the North American Black-footed Ferret as a mascot, and this animated GIF of a ferret typing at a computer was on the homepage and many screens of the tool.
