English: Coat of arms of the Danish city Viborg based on a seal known since 1355. The style however suggests an early 13th century origin. The origin of the two figures dressed as Roman senators is unknown. It has been postulated that the figures might be saints but it is more likely that they are judges or senators as Viborg has been the main court site of Jutland since ancient times.
