Summary
In this screenshot from The Outer Limits S1E21 " The Children of Spider County," we see a shape-shifting insectoid alien from the planet Eros. This is one of the clearest shots of the "monster" in the whole episode, and in roughly the same position (mirror-reversed) as Barney Hill's famous sketch. The screenshot comes from about 30m55s in the Amazon Freevee recording (which includes an excerpt/promo before the opening title sequence which might not be reflected in other recordings).
" The Children of Spider County" aired on 1964-02-17. On 1964-02-22, Barney Hill described under hypnosis described having been abducted by an alien with arguably similar appearance in 1961. See Jason Colavito (2014). "Alien abduction at... The Outer Limits".
