Seattle cable car 2 on Yesler Way at Third Avenue in downtown Seattle, in 1940. The Yesler Way line was one of several cable railways in Seattle, but was the last to close. The last three lines all closed in 1940: The Madison Street line in February, the James Street line in April and the Yesler line in August.
