Description |
Nederlands: Dit meervoudige enkelriet (dubbel-klarinet) bestaat uit 2 bamboe buizen met elk 5 vingergaten; koehoorns dienen als klanktrechters. In het boveneinde van de buizen worden losse 'idioglotte' 'rieten' gestoken, dwz. dat het tongetje uit het materiaal zelf (bamboe) gesneden is.
Het instrument is versierd met gele, blauwe en rode verf. Door een speciale techniek (zg. 'circular breathing') kan de speler ademhalen onder het spelen, zonder het instrument uit de mond te nemen, en op die manier een ononderbroken geluid voortbrengen. |
