Description
English: St. John's Lutheran Church in Butler Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, on St. John's Road. There are 2 adjacent churches named St. John's, the other is United Church of Christ. The churches formed in 1799 as a Union Church - the Lutherans got the exclusive use of the church one Sunday, then the Reformed Church (later evolved into UCC in some places) got the exclusive use the next.
