English: Bullock Creek or Punungairo flows from the Paparoa Range on the West Coast of New Zealand, and empties into the Pororari Lagoon just north of Punakaiki. The southern face of the river valley has limestone bluffs noted for rock climbing, with names likethe Arboretum, the Two Towers, and the Colosseum. The creek flows through New Zealand's only polje (large, flat-floored depression in a karst landscape). The formerly-farmed valley floor is being restored in a 153 ha planting project by Conservation Volunteers New Zealand.
