Description
English: Buckingham Friends Meeting House on the NRHP since March 28, 1997. A National Historic Landmark. At 5684 Lower York Road, Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The double doors (another set on the other side) are important because this is the first Quaker meetinghouse to use this type of architecture, incorporating separate entrances, and equal sized separate meeting rooms for business in the meeting house. A screen between the two rooms was removed during meeting for worship.
