English:
Patrocinio de Maria Church in Boljoon, Cebu Island, Philippines. The church is facing east to the ocean. It not only serves as a church for Boljoon, it also has a museum of local religious items through out the church history. This church is also a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines and a National Historical Landmark. The church also survived the 2013 earthquake, where several other churches in the area were significantly damaged. This image was taken on January 21, 2017. |
