Summary

Description The Bialystoker Center and Home for the Aged at 228 East Broadway between Clinton and Pitt Streets in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1929-31 and was designed by Harry Hurwitt in the Art Deco style. The Center closed in 2011, but was named a NYC Landmark in 2013. (Source: "NYCLPC Designation Report")
