By Lyman Beecher, A.M. New York, 1809. "To which is annexed, the resolutions and address of the Anti-Duelling Association of New-York.". Printed by J. Seymour. 1st edition, thus. This original, early 19th century American Pamphlet measures approx. 5 1/4" x 8 1/4” and contains 48 pages. Beecher's Sermon was originally published in 1806 but was reprinted here to accompany the official statements issued on August 8th, 1809 on the occasion of the formation of the "Anti-Duelling Association of New-York". |
