Like many other similar power plants located on the various falls of the Snake River The American Falls Power Plant, one of the largest power plants in the country have utilized the stupendous power of the Snake River for the benefit of mankind. At the present time there have been thousands of dollars invested in manufacturing plants along its banks and millions of horsepower of the Snake River's valuable energy are controlled for distributing electrical power throughout vast areas. Handwritten on verso: Glens Ferry, Idaho. Feb 18 - 1924plants in the country have utilized the stupendousThis view of American Falls is before filling the nearby dam destroyed the Falls in 1925. The entire town of American Falls also had to be moved since its original location was flooded after the American Falls Dam was filled.
