1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Sport Coupe. This example has the additional triple fender mouldings which were a feature of the Fleetline sub-series models
Production started again in 1946, after World War II had ended, the Chevrolet was very similar to the 1942 car with only a new grille. The belt line mould and the grille changed for 1947 and again in 1948 but apart from that very similar to 1942. Available in base Stylemaster, Fleetmaster and the fastback styled, Fleetline.
Bodys; Sedan, Coupe, Convertible, Wagon and Delivery
Chevrolets were also produced in Australia by General Motors using modified American bodies from 1926-68.
