This image shows the map of the Dragon Ball universe.
Description |
Map of "Earth" from the manga and anime series Dragon Ball. |
---|---|
Source |
Image is scanned from Dragon Ball Daizenshuu Vol. 4 World Guide, pages 74-75. |
Portion used |
Entire two page spread. |
Low resolution? |
Image is present unmodified from the original source, other than being significantly reduced in size. Image is 800x610 pixels and any smaller would risk obscuring the in-image text, which is necessary for identifying landmarks with the corresponding translation. |
Other information |

Purpose of use |
The version of Earth seen in Dragon Ball is unique and helps provide perspective for the distances between the locations of inhabited areas of the planet and for significant events within the series. |
Replaceable? |
Although the Earth of Dragon Ball is unique, no map of it is ever seen within the series itself. There is little to no information provided within the series for reference as to where certain habitations exist or events take place, so any user-created image would be speculative and grossly inaccurate. The presented image is the more detailed of only two known maps provided in Dragon Ball-related source material. Daizenshuu Volume 4, from which this image is taken, is currently only available in the original Japanese. |
