English: The Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2) Turkish ship TCG Göksu (F 497) participates in ship maneuvering exercises as a part of Joint Warrior, Europe's largest multinational multi-warfare exercise in the Minch off Scotland (UK). NATO's Standing Naval Forces, SNMG2, and Standing NATO Mine Counter Measures Groups 1 and 2 were participating in Joint Warrior with 55 warships and submarines, and 70 air assets from Allied countries. In total, the exercise involved approximately 14,000 personnel training and operating together to develop specific war fighting skills through diverse training and credible scenario development.
TCG Göksu (F 497) was commissioned as USS Estocin (FFG-15) from 1981 to 2003.
