Summary

Description
English: Dale airfield runway RAF Dale operated here from 1942 to 1947 and latterly became a Fleet Air Arm station HMS Goldcrest. Thankfully you now hear skylarks overhead instead of the roar of engines as you walk past the old runways which are all that remain.
