English: Portion of a newspaper lithograph depicting the marble bust by Charles Summers of the actor Gustavus Vaughan Brooke. The statue was commissioned two years after the actor's death, and the sculptor had only photographs to work from. It was generally recognised as a fine piece of work, and some thought it a good likeness. The statue was presented to the Art Gallery of Victoria nd installed in the Public Library.
