English: The Japan Meteorological Agency’s GMS-5 satellite captured this visible imagery at 06:00 Coordinated Universal Time (14:00 Philippine Standard Time) on November 1, 1995, featuring Typhoon Angela (Rosing) at peak intensity and over the Pacific Ocean, approaching the Philippines. At the time, Angela had 1-minute sustained winds of 180 mph (285 km/h), and the Japanese Meteorological Agency estimated Angela's minimum central pressure at 920 millibars. Angela was 399 kilometers from land.
