The arms were officially granted on September 11, 1979. The unicorn in the arms is taken from the arms of the former court of Aschau, to which the municipality belonged. The white flank is canting (weissenbach means white river/stream).
Deutsch: Blasonierung:„In Grün, vorn eine silberne (weiße) Flanke im Wellenschnitt; hinten ein steigendes silbernes (weißes) Einhorn.“
Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Tiroler Landesregierung am 11. September 1979 verliehen. Das senkrecht verlaufende silberne Wellenfeld stellt den Gemeindenamen dar ("
Redendes Wappen"). Das Einhorn deutet auf die einstige Zugehörigkeit zum Gericht Aschau hin, welches dieses Symbol im Schild führte.
