Edanville is an extinct town in northern Texas County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. [1]
The site is on the west bank of the Big Piney River approximately three quarters of a mile south of the Texas- Pulaski county line. [2]
A post office called Edanville was in operation from 1892 until 1926. [3] The community most likely was so named on account of its eden-like setting. [4]
