I appreciate the effort, but I'm not sure this is notable enough to have its own independent article. Sure, it was a close playoff game and the result alluded to a notable incident involving the Buffalo Bills, but that doesn't this game notable on its own. If this game gets an article, then so should every other game that has a close result in the playoffs.
Really, the only mention of this game (outside of playoff recap articles) should be in the original "Wide Right" article, because the only notable part about this game is that Tyler Bass missed wide right. Other than that, there's nothing at all special about this game.-

I agree. The only reason why this particular missed field goal is notable is because of the lore involving
the original missed field goal. As such, this incident can be sufficiently noted in a sentence or two on the original Wide Right article; it does not need its own.

This seems like a lot of information to contain in just one playoff section. A split article is likely better. Besides, if this isn’t worthy for an article then why is
Lunatic Lateral?

Yes, I think it's better suited as an addition in the chiefs-bills rivalry article. Also, totally agree on the Lunatic Lateral. I had no idea it even was one until you meantioned it. That's mind boggling. If I had more experience on how to go about it, I'd start discussion/request to have it removed.

Just because someone can write a lot about something doesn't mean the subject is notable.

There's no way they're gonna accept this
This would clearly be a violation of
WP:TOO SOON at the very least. It's just not as notable enough right now.

Wasn’t the article for the Vikings 33-0 comeback over the Colts article created the same day it happened?

It may have been, but the Vikings set a NFL record for the largest comeback ever. It's a completely notable event no matter how you look at it.-
