Litigation

In 2023, Marco Marco co-founder Christopher Psaila filed a lawsuit against singer and television personality Erika Girardi, American Express, and multiple U.S. Secret Service agents. Psaila alleged that Girardi, known professionally as Erika Jayne, fraudulently sought refunds through American Express and bribed a Secret Service agent via her husband, Tom Girardi, to file false felony charges against him. [4]

Psaila claimed that he was charged with wire fraud and aggravated identity theft in 2017, but federal prosecutors dismissed the case in September 2021. The lawsuit stated that Jayne had purchased approximately $934,000 worth of clothing and services from Marco Marco between 2015 and 2016. Jayne allegedly questioned the charges in December 2016, and received a refund of approximately $787,000 from American Express. [5] [6]
