Laxman Meesala is an Indian stage and film actor who works in Telugu films and theatre. Laxman entered the Telugu film industry through the movie Ko Ante Koti and gained recognition by acting in films such as Manamantha, Vangaveeti, Ghaji and RX 100.
Laxman was born on August 12, 1984 to Rama Rao and Narayanamma in Ranipet village, Gajapati district, Orissa state.
Laxman came to Hyderabad in 2007 and made his acting debut with a triple role in the play 'Amma Neku Pratakaman'. After training in acting under D.Y. Dixitulu in the same year. In 2009, he participated in a month-long stage training camp at the University of Hyderabad under the auspices of the National School of Drama to learn acting skills and acted in the play 'Swapna Vasantham' prepared in that training camp. In an interview with Sakshi, Laxman mentioned that he worked as a coolie (daily wager) at the construction site of Allu Arjun [2] and S. V. Krishna Reddy [3] [4]
In 2017, Laxman made his lead debut as a cook-turned-actor in Rohit & Sasi's Story Discussion and followed by Nirudyoga Natulu alongside Anvesh Michael and Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, which garnered Laxman recognition. [5]
