Hot Air is an upcoming American miniseries based on the book Dirty Tricks: British Airways' Secret War Against Virgin Atlantic by Martyn Gregory. It will document the story of British entrepreneur Richard Branson and the rise of Branson's airline Virgin Airways, and the negative press campaign, "Dirty Tricks" by British Airways to bring down the airline. The series will star Andrew Garfield as Branson. [1] [2]
On July 15, 2022, it was announced that a limited series based on the book Dirty Tricks: British Airways' Secret War Against Virgin Atlantic by Martyn Gregory, about Richard Branson and the negative press campaign against Branson's airline Virgin Airways by the British airline British Airways, was in development at Universal International Studios. [1] It was also announced that the miniseries would be directed by David Leitch, written by Jon Croker, and star Andrew Garfield as Branson. [1]
The limited series will be executive produced by Jon Croker and Andrew Garfield, and David Leitch, Kelly McCormick and Dan Seligmann for 87North Productions, Babak Anvari and Lucan Toh for Two & Two Pictures, and Michael Grade, Peter Gerwe and Ivan Dunleavy for StoryFirst.
