From July 2002 – August 2005, he served in the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic as Adjutant Colonel of Presidents Konstantinos Stephanopoulos and Karolos Papoulias. On April 20, 2004, Lieutenant Colonel Driksakos became Colonel. Lieutenant General Georgios I. Dritsakos ( Greek: Γεώργιος Δριτσάκος) is a retired Hellenic Air Force officer who served as Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff. [1]
He entered the Hellenic Air Force Academy in 1978 and was named Second Lieutenant in 1982.
From July 2002 to August 2005, he served in the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic as Adjutant Colonel of Presidents Konstantinos Stephanopoulos and Karolos Papoulias.
On April 20, 2004, Dritsakos became colonel.
He accompanied the President of the Hellenic Republic Konstantinos Stephanopoulos to declare open the Athens 2004 Olympics on 13 August 2004 during the Opening Ceremony.
On 10 January 2020, he has served as commander of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. [2] [3]
