the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a
neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of
independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid
peacock terms that promote the subject.

qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published,
reliable,
secondary sources that are
independent of the subject (see the
guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see
technical help and learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by

Erik A. S. Frydendal (born 1972 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian business leader known for his tenure as CEO of Hunter Group ASA, a Norwegian publicly listed investment company. Frydendal became CEO of Hunter Group in May 2018. [1] [2]
After Frydendal joined Hunter Group ASA, the company became one of the most discussed and high-profile companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The company had several of the most prominent investors in Norway as shareholders, including investor Arne Fredly as the main shareholder.
During Frydendal's leadership, Hunter Group ASA realized significant profits from buying [3]and then selling [4]eight large oil tankers [5] [6], leading to substantial shareholder dividends [7] [8] [9]. From 2023, Frydendal has redirected the company's strategy towards CO2-shipping towards the CCS industry [10] in addition to speculation in tanker rate differences and entering into charter agreements for two VLCC oil tankers. [11] [12] [13] [14]
Frydendal's experience in the capital markets includes senior positions at Fearnley Securities, Swedbank, Fondsfinans, and Nordea Securities in Oslo, as well as Paine Webber Inc ( UBS AG) in San Francisco. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and a B.Sc. in finance from the University of Utah.
