The Cleary-Flood Generation Station is a 136 MW dual-fuel electrical power station in Taunton, Massachusetts. It is owned and operated by Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant.

Design

The plant consists of two units. The primary unit is a 110 MW combined-cycle system which can burn natural gas or No. 6 heating oil. [1] Originally built in 1975 [2], this unit consists of a 20 MW gas turbine, and a 90 MW steam generator. A second unit, built in the 1965 [2], has 26 MW capacity and exclusively burns residual or diesel oil. [3] [4]
