Elizabeth II changed the depiction of the royal arms to use
St Edward's Crown instead of the
Tudor crown, and include a compartment of grass behind the motto scroll. After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022, the new King Charles III returned to using the Tudor Crown, but in an updated version.
