Doreen Kyazze also known as Doreen Namyalo Kyazze is a Ugandan lawyer and human rights activist known for her advocacy against the death penalty and her work in improving the conditions of women in detention facilities. She works Foundation for Human Rights Initiative a human rights advocacy not-profit origination established in 1991. Background and education

Kyazze holds bachelors and masters degrees in law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center Kampala. [8]

Career

Kyazze has worked with several organizations dedicated to human rights and legal reform. She has been associated with Penal Reform International (PRI), where she played advocated for progressive legal reforms and the adoption of the Mandela Rules.
