Cotherstone is a rural locality in the Central Highlands Region, Queensland, Australia. [2] At the 2021 census, Cotherstone had "no people or a very low population". [1]
The central and eastern parts of the locality are mountainous and undeveloped with Paddy Peak in the south-east of the locality ( 22°49′55″S 148°19′25″E / 22.8319°S 148.3236°E) at 459 metres (1,506 ft) above sea level. [3] The lower eastern part of the locality is used for crops and grazing on native vegetation. [4]
