Conway Beach is a coastal locality in the Whitsunday Region, Queensland, Australia. [2] In the 2021 census, Conway Beach had a population of 75 people. [1]
The locality is bounded to the south by Repulse Bay of the Coral Sea. [3]
The locality takes its name from Cape Conway which was in turn named after politician Henry Seymour Conway on 3 June 1770 by Lieutenant James Cook, captain of HMS Endeavour. [2] [4]
