Contus Tech is a SaaS based product company headquartered in Chennai, India. The company's services are available in over 40 countries globally. [1] [2]
History
In 2008, Contus Tech was founded by Sriram Manoharan in Chennai where the headquarters is still located.
By 2009, Contus Tech launched HD FLV Player, a standalone video player that hit 1M downloads. [3] In 2010, the company expanded its operations to other locations in the US and Middle East. [4]
In 2011, Contus Tech closed a deal with a bank in the Middle East, initiated the IoT smart city projects and launched Apptha.com [5]
In 2015, the company launched real time chat platform known as MirrorFly. [6] Along with this, it implemented chatbots with AI and ML. [7] In the consecutive year (2016), it launched the live streaming platform VPlayed. [8]
