The Record, formerly Columbia University Record, subtitled "news and ideas for the Columbia community", is the official newspaper of the Columbia University administration. [1]
The inaugural issue of Columbia University Record was published in September 1973. [2] it took the name University Record on 22 July 1975, restarting volume 1, issue 1. [3] It late became Record, and then The Record. [2]
It has been published roughly biweekly or monthly during academic terms.
