Choghukabad ( Persian: چغوك اباد, also Romanized as 'Choghūkābād; also known as Joghūkābād) [1] is a village in Azizabad Rural District, in the Central District of Narmashir County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,656, in 396 families. [2] The village's name means "sparrow town". [3] Some ruins near the village probably represent the former site of the city of Narmashir during the middle ages. [3]
