Chayjan ( Persian: چايجان) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Siahkalrud Rural District [4] of Chaboksar District, Rudsar County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,097 in 346 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,056 people in 369 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 898 people in 331 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
