Chabora ( Ancient Greek: Χαβώρα) was an ancient town on the Euphrates, near Nicephorion, that probably derives its name from the Chaboras river. [1] Theophylact Simocatta mentions Ἀβορέων φρούριον, which is, according to William Smith, the same place. [2]
