Treaties extended by the United Kingdom to the Federation of South Arabia (1962–67). (Because it was the successor to the Colony of Aden and the Aden Protectorate, the Federation of South Arabia is sometimes referred to in treaty extension documents as "Aden".) A treaty extended to the Federation of South Arabia remains in force for Yemen (and previously, for South Yemen) only if Yemen (or South Yemen) declared its succession to the treaty.
