Any collision between trains (including shunting movements) in the broadest sense may be placed here: head-on/rear-end/side collisions, including collisions inside stations and trains falling from bridges onto other trains. Also, train collisions after derailments, runaway rail vehicles and level crossing accidents may be placed both here and in the respective other category. Other collisions with road vehicles, especially level crossing accidents, shall not be listed here. Tram collisions need not be listed here, but depending on time and country regulations, the distinction between trains and trams may vary to a large extent. Collisions of trains with infrastructure (bridges, tunnel entries, buffer stops) may also be listed here. If this has been caused by a derailment, the article may be put here and under derailments.
