Mekteb-i Mülkiye, established on February 12, 1859 in Istanbul, was a vocational high school in the Ottoman Empire. On December 4, 1938, the school was renamed "School of Political Sciences". Finally on April 3, 1950, it was incorporated into Ankara University as the "Faculty of Political Sciences"
