Ambassadors of China to the United States. The United States received representatives from the Qing Empire from 1875 to 1912. It received representatives from the Republic of China beginning in 1912 to the present. Since 1973, it has also received representatives from the People's Republic of China. This category contains representatives sent from all three political entities. Some of the representatives have been styled "ambassadors" and some have not, but all may be included in this category.
