Carex scirpoidea is a species of sedge belonging to the family Cyperaceae. [1] It is dioecious, with male and female flowers on separate plants. [2]

Its native range is Norway ( Solvågtind), Russia ( Siberia and far eastern Russia), Greenland, [3] [4] Canada and the US. [1]
