Broadway is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) ^[9] located within Franklin Township, in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that was created as part of the 2010 United States Census. ^{[10] [11] [12]} As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 244. ^[13]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 0.371 square miles (0.962 km²), including 0.371 square miles (0.961 km²) of land and 0.000 square miles (0.000 km²) of water (0.03%). ^{[5] [14]}

Demographics

2010 census

The 2010 United States census counted 244 people, 106 households, and 62 families in the CDP. The population density was 657.4 per square mile (253.8/km²). There were 127 housing units at an average density of 342.1 per square mile (132.1/km²). The racial makeup was 97.13% (237) White, 0.00% (0) Black or African American, 0.00% (0) Native American, 1.23% (3) Asian, 0.00% (0) Pacific Islander, 0.00% (0) from other races, and 1.64% (4) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.69% (9) of the population. ^[13]

Of the 106 households, 16.0% had children under the age of 18; 39.6% were married couples living together; 13.2% had a female householder with no husband present and 41.5% were non-families. Of all households, 31.1% were made up of individuals and 12.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.30 and the average family size was 2.89. ^[13]

16.0% of the population were under the age of 18, 14.3% from 18 to 24, 18.4% from 25 to 44, 35.2% from 45 to 64, and 16.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45.3 years.
