Bafran (
Persian : باقران , also
Romanized as Bāfrān and Bāfarān ; also known as Bāfrān Minar )

Central District of
Nain County ,
Isfahan province,
Iran , serving as the administrative center for
Bafran Rural District .

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,138 in 590 households, when it was a village in Bafran Rural District.
[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,027 people in 656 households,
[6] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.
[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,978 people in 688 households.
