Aquilegia atrovinosa |
Aquilegia atrovinosa is a perennial [1] species of plant in the family Ranunculaceae. It is native to primarily temperate regions of Central Asia ( Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and northern Xinjiang). [1]
The flowers of this species are a dark purple colour, which perhaps gives the species its specific name (from Latin atro "dark" and vinosa "full of wine"). [2]
