Annie is the seventh studio album by Anne Murray issued in 1972 on Capitol Records. It peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and number 143 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. [2] The album title was inspired by her pet name. It won the Best Produced MOR Album for Brian Ahern who also arranged the album. The front cover was credited to Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean fame.
