Ampelus ( Latin) or Ampelos ( Greek: Ἄμπελος, lit. " Vine") was a town in the southeast extremity of ancient Crete, on a cape of the same name. [1] [2]

Its site is tentatively located near Farmakokefalo. [1] [3]
