CBE (born 1967), is the founding chief executive and artistic director of
The Shed in
New York City .

Manchester International Festival (2005-2015)

Park Avenue Armory (2012–2015).

Early life and education
Alexander Moinet Poots was born in
Edinburgh in 1967,
[5] to a French mother and an Irish father, and studied the trumpet from a young age.

bachelor's degree in music from

Kathryn Spellman-Poots .
